- a mac - its sound recording function is not too shabby
- garageband - i use podcast (since i don't know what the rest is about)
- miro - to rip videos from youtube or elsewhere when you can't find minus1 mp3s
- switch - incredibly useful to convert file types i.e. wav to mp3, videos to mp3
- audacity - lets you edit your music; i only use the cut, amplify, bass boost, normalize and equalize function.
and there you have it!
+ miro, switch and audacity are all free.
if you think your laptop can't pick up your voice, go to control panel. under your audio devices, you can find your microphone. adjust levels i.e. boost . there's alot of noise though. i hate it.
