OH CARRIE, YOU'RE SO FINE

I d'no why but I immediately wanted to get Missypixie's Carrie dress when it was launched.
Was it because it was touted as THE SJP-SATC dress?
No matter; it was sold out! Backorders are open but now I'm not sure if I want it.

HENCE, I'm like, an impulse shopper?
I'm drawn inexplicably to something random, HAVE to buy it lest I live in regret, end up not really liking it at the end of the day and living in regret anyway.

Great then it was sold out.
Great that I don't feel the burning need to join the backorder. HA!

Not that I've completely stopped shopping.
I did succumb to commerical pressure. Transdesign is liquidating its OPI inventory! No more cheap OPIs! EMERGENCY SITCH CALLS FOR EMERGENCY BUYS!
SO I bought the Summer Flutter collection (~7.70 for 4 mini bottles), top and base coat + a matte topcoat. Quite excited about the matte treatment cuz' it'll turn your glossy polishes matte! OPI did a matte collection previously and it was quite ... interesting. Not everyone'll like it that's for sure.
(Random thought: Matte and Suede are different collections but they both look matte...)
Well, ok, Summer Flutter is quite sane compared to other more eclectic collections. Almost safe.
This picture is from All Lacquered Up (click for the link) who has got great swatches. I feel that her swatches can be trusted in terms of the color.
From left to right, Wing It!, Flit A Bit, Flower to Flower, Catch Me In Your Net.
I got the collection more for Catch Me In Your Net (I sold my Absolutely Alice because I thought the formula for the Alice in Wonderland collection was not fantastic - so runny! and it required lots of coats) and Flower to Flower. You can't see it from the picture but check out the swatches - the pink has got glitter in it. Really pretty!
The only other OPI I own is Mad As A Hatter. Formula is runny too but I love the color too much to let it go.

ANYWAY.
This question comes up a whole lot - Should I have bought this?
There'll be people saying no and those in support of course. MY ANSWER? If it makes you happy.
I really don't care if someone feels an item is too expensive, too dumb, too pointless, too whatever.. As long as the person who bought it likes it. Even if I think it's one of the above, if you like it, I'm in support of you getting it. Of course, future regret notwithstanding.

I do feel happy for people in a stable relationship. Of course, I'll feel quite calefarish and sort of resent my girlfriends being stolen from time to time. But, I feel happy for them!
It's hard to find someone you like and likes you back too. Hopefully, like you for who you are and not some fake persona or mask you put on.
So... yea, it's not that I don't care about who's dating who, just that if they're happy then okayy. There's really no point saying negative stuff all the time.

Aiight, time to sleep. It's raining heavily out there!

I'm hesitating to put on heels. It's been a long time and I'm probably not gonna be used to them again. Ouch, ouch! But Thu, definitely, heels. Which one would it be?
P.S I wanted to buy the Carrie dress for Thu actually...but I guess now I'll just be throwing on a neverwornbefore BC)
