Setting my sights a little higher

Alot higher. OH OOPS, I meant A LOT. *pictures an alot trying to jump higher*
Feeling inexplicably hostile now. 
(When you need to get out of a conversation, and the other party's a guy, share your feelings a lot) - any truth in that?

Did you know a smiley can change the tone of things? 
I mean if someone said 'would you be my gf?' and you replied with 'bug off.' - totally hostile!! like you would break his legs if he didn't bug off - 
Someone would cry, y'know? Or at least I think so.
Alternatively, 'haha bug off :)' reduces the emotional damage and potentially broken legs, I feel.

On the other hand, if you're trying to convey a serious message, it is highly inappropriate to 'would you be my gf haha :)'
'LOL, NO, ROFL :D'
The 'haha' is there to make it sound like a joke lest she rejects you. See? WE KNOW.

Back to the main topic, if there was a smiley, it wouldn't have been that bad.
