I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get to go to Turkey.
(Some bitches are keeping their fingers crossed that I won't get to go, right? WHATEVER)
HAVEN'T STUDIED! GOSH.
So much for fear being a motivating factor. Guess it does not work on me?
A looks so different now! At first I was ready to proclaim her as damn chio! but then a few more pictures made me hesitate (and wonder if she got a nose job).. WELL ANYWAY, I'm well aware of how a good haircut, circle lenses, fake lashes, flawless makeup and good angles, can make a person look better. I'm not saying gorgeous, just BETTER.
People who've never touched makeup and are not chio, start with eyeliner. It is potentially life-changing. HA!
306 IS DAMN TOUGH LA.
She's damn lucky! Not very chio yet bf is so rich and not very bad looking.
And this other girl too! Not very chio but I guess looking cute has its benefits.
I don't know why girls like to stand very very close to guys who are not their bfs and lean on them. Is that normal? Is that acceptable?! (I sound very oldfashioned.) But I'll feel quite *gives LRT's disapproving face*.
So that people can gossip right?
If the guy is above a certain standard, then I suppose it's something to be proud of. *shrugs, I suppose* All those people who pretend and say "oh there's nothing one la!" - oh REALLY? You can lie to others but not yourself. *tsk*
Auntie here finds it very unsettling. So 不检点!现在的年轻人!
WELL, guess what? People ARE gossiping. Good job! Deserve a gold star (:
If she wasn't like that, I wouldn't dislike her without meeting her y'know. BUT SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE THAT.
看不顺眼 of course must comment. It's not a hate post.
Obviously, it's not my life's goal to make critical/caustic comments about people I've never met.
No matter, that's not the point, is it? You read my blog because you like my caustic comments and sarcasm. Better yet, name someone openly and fry them, right?
Whatever, ok? That is not the main point too.
SOME girls pretend that their bf will mind if they hang out with other guys. HAHA. Initially, when you're totally fooled, you think WOW, such girls are hard to find. (Or whatever it is, I don't think like that so I wouldn't know)
Subsequently, they reveal their true colors. This particular girl? Didn't take too long, did she? Couldn't contain her inherent
HENCE, it's not that I want to single you out and laugh at you. You chose to make up a story, it got spread around, and now you seem to have forgotten your story and shot yourself in the foot. It's so ridiculous, who wouldn't laugh?
Star Awards comments
Was that a halfhearted attempt at nude makeup? Or a mix of goth and nude?
The effect was more drug addict/sleep deprived than WOW (or BOOMZ)
If that was supposed to be a smoky-eye look, whatever shadow you used, don't use it again! Felt very much like a smudgy-eye look. = NOT HOT.
Nude lips are supposed to draw attention to bold eyes but in this case, it made her look ill because there was nothing bold enough for attention to be drawn to.
(If you ever thought of trying out nude lips, a good and pocket-friendly choice would be NYX Round Lipstick in Circe. Get it at CherryCulture.com!)
I lauded the new Miumiu collection. Well, daisies, swallows, cats are OK.
When Style Rookie put on her Miumiu collar (with naked people on it), I was kinda perturbed but yea well, it didn't look terrible on her. Tonight's outfit was clearly Miumiu just not doing it enough justice!
Trend for guys to look like they had to wade through a minor flood? AND IN CASE anyone felt inspired, height is probably a deciding factor in whether you look OK/good or you outgrew your trousers.
Which lead me on to comment on URBAN's previous street style feature in which they 'profiled' the 10 (was it?) most fashionable shoppers they spotted in town.
NO WONDER Singapore doesn't have a thriving street style blog.
Previously, Venetia was griping about that and subsequently posted a link to this guy who runs/ran a local street style blog. When I tried the link, it didn't work so perhaps he gave up.
People who saw that article - 10 MOST fashionable?
That's all we've got?
The guys first.
Some of them look just like ANY OTHER guy on the street. In terms of dressing. Looks are not the point here. SO does that mean any 阿猫阿狗 will fit the bill of stylish simply by throwing on a tee, skinny jeans, sneakers and with something rad somewhere. (HAHA at that. I can't remember the article) Our favourite boys who throng Bugis Street dress like that. So they're stylish?! (I always suspected that... We just refused to recognise their style! Shame on us, old fogeys right?) Maybe nondescript guy would make the list too?
I'm not saying branded clothes are BAD just that being clad in brand names from head to toe does not a fashionista make. (Random: Because fashionista looks like periodista, I included it in my Spanish exam essay. Good decision, wouldn't you say?)
The ladies.
Some yes, some no. One of them was wearing the leopard sequin wedges from f21! They're still there at USD 25.80 if you're interested! I like (:
OK SORRRY if you expected me to run down the girls abit more but none of them really made an impression for me to comment. Not discriminating here, ok?
With evidence of our lack of style, yet proclaiming Singapore to be a stylish nation (or something. Go read the article yourself!) - ridiculous.
*There was an article headlined something close to that because of the runway auditions for the upcoming fashion fest?* I really can't remember! I wanted to blog about it the day I read it because the title was just so idealistic (= not Singapore) but forgot.
Locals better be glad that we won't be hosting any event akin to a fashion olympics anytime soon. It might prompt a crackdown on wearing flipflops, FBTs and your singlet to town. NOooooo, your singlet might be from NUM but it's NOT cool.
(Random: I hope people don't actually think it's cool to bring a paddle to town. It's NOT. They're not the newest hottest arm accessory. Tell me they just came from training!)
Another fashion faux pas? Wearing indecently short FBTs and PE tees to university when you're studying overseas. Where the locals, no matter how ill-coordinated or passionate about sneakers and socks, don't dress like that.
Boomz!
