Disclaimer: I have nothing against this blogger but this popped up and what was written caught my eye.
SO NO, THIS IS NOT A HATE POST.
Come on guys, I don't just write hate posts.
ANYWAY.
I didn't go find out 'except if' what, but I guess it would be along the lines of
'...someone close to them, died'
'...they had to be hospitalised'
'...they had to dissuade someone from committing suicide'.
Definitely nothing like
last minute hair appointment
tuition
dog fell sick
person had cramps and was not feeling well
had to make a life-changing appointment...
There's nothing wrong with feeling like this.
I disagree, doesn't mean I can't see things from this perspective.
What I want to know is... what happens next?
I know people who get cramps at the best times. Does that mean we insist they come, even when they're not feeling well? Does that mean we accuse them of lying because "come on la! people pon quiz also say cramps. you expect me to believe you?"
"Don't YOU care if people cancel because of this reason?"
Seriously, I don't give a toss.
Maybe because I don't treat going-out as a life-and-death situation. Can't make it this time, whatever, there's always next time.
Seriously, even when I'm already there and people tell me they'll be an hour or so late, or they just woke up and am thinking whether to come, 我都沉的住气. (撕破脸对谁都没有好处.)
If you don't trust someone, don't go out with them in future. Why are you even going out with someone you don't trust? Think they're not sick? Since you're not going out anymore but you HAVE to go out cuz' it means so much to you, spot check!
SO... I hope this works out. (Very kpo, hor)
If you cancel, OF COURSE you apologise. You're wrong.
BUT if you're given a death sentence without trial, walk away. You deserve better.
