We often crave for the things beyond our reach, believing that they will make our lives complete. Alas! We realise that they are just one of the many playthings that we chase. Once we acquire it, is there still the same passion and thrill? More often than not, it's the thrill of the chase that is more delicious than getting hold of the real thing. After we have gotten what we want, we tend to find fault with it and then yearn for something so much better.
Now, isn't that the same with humans?

Another random thought. There are people whom I've never spoken to. I don't really dislike you. It's just that there's nothing to say and making small talk is awfully painful. Why go the extra mile unless there's something worthwhile there? There are people who don't leave good impressions but as time passes, you find that they're alright actually. And there are some whom you find get worse as time goes by. The more you look at them, the more buey song you get, the more you want to frown. I suppose it's not their fault that they're so kiam pa right?
That's the end of my study break. Lol. Have fun people! Life has not killed me yet. Joie de Vivre.
